Hockey Burleigh Incorporated has been established since 1967. Hockey Burleigh is a member of Queensland Hockey and Gold Coast Hockey Association. We have long been established as a community driven club with much of our work being performed by dedicated volunteers.

We welcome all members to our club regardless of whether they are hockey veterans or amateurs wanting to just have a bit of fun. So please don't hesitate to drop by and join the club. Hockey Burleigh club also runs several social functions throughout the year. These events have proven to be great fun and a good fun raiser for the club.

Hockey Burleigh proudly supports Hook in2 Hockey, hockey's National Participate Programme, where young players are introduced to the game through the Club environment, in a safe and fun programme.

No turf training available on 7 Jul. There is training at Mallawa Fields 4pm to 5pm weather permitting.

Junior Games Friday night 9 July

18Boys game at 6.45pm now transferred to Turf 1.

All other Friday night games have been rescheduled to a date to be advised by Coaches/Managers.

Umpiring Notes for 2010

Familiarisation Paper is now due and is to be completed by all registered players. Your coach will have the paper or have already sent this to your email.

Payments

no alcohol to be consumed while umpiring
no payment until game cards have been handed in(umpires can present game card for quicker paym
to be collected no later than 2 weeks after the original game
payments now enforced by qualifications - no familiarisation paper, no payment(this will be backdated once paper is completed and you have passed)
