Lances are Under 7s, Under 9s and Hookin2Hockey players and are in our Saturday morning Club Junior Development program.

The childen learn and play in a program which promotes skills, encourages these newly learnt skills in small games,  with plenty of fun thrown in - all which nurture our Senior Grade players of the future and healthy children of today.

START: Training Wednesday 3rd March - Games Saturday 13th March

FINISH: Sept 2010

WHERE: Palm Beach(Hockey Burleigh's Mallawa Field),  Mudgeeraba (Somerset Park), Capri (Surfer's Paradise Primary School) and GCHA (Hunt Park, Musgrave) Location advised on Hockey Burleigh and GCHA websites.

COST: $60 includes stick, shirt, socks, ball, drink bottle and shin pads.  Plus cost of a mouthguard.

WHAT IS IT: Program is a 1hr session on Wednesday and Saturday morning. Run by the Club, assisted by GCHA with the program based on Hockey Australia's National Program.  Travel to different locations to provide variety and options for parents.

BENEFITS: Club environment for children and parents.  Allows children to participate in club games and move up to different age groups if desired.

FLEXIBILITY: Children can learn the basic skills with other children of same level.  At any time they can either continue to improve those skills over the full season, join a team which plays competition on Saturday mornings, or finish after the initial 10 weeks.  If a Wednesday or Saturday isn't convenient on week, there is no problem with missing that lesson.
